Agree with above. He is very irresponsible in home inspection. We hired him for our home inspection several years ago. He had missed some obvious home damages. When we called him back after we had found out by ourself, he was very rude, very non-professional to us.
Let me repeat someone had said above: "Just DO NOT hire George Chang to do home inspection for you!!!!!"

The negative reviews by the prior posters must be people that obvious have a vendetta against Mr. Chang or are competitors to him trying to steal his business. Especially the one that states that "He is very terrible." This person has obviously never used his services before and has never been the recepients of one of his reports. I notice that this site claims no responsiblity over the authenticity or is able to verify how truthful the reviews are, unlike other review sites. I have used Mr. Chang several times with a number of properties (investments of my own) as well as referred to him to several of my clients. In each case he has been nothing but professional, courteous and his reports very thorough. Some people might think he is "more expensive" than others, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. Cheap prices lead to cheap inspections. Mr. Changs reports (and I have several of them) are consistently detailed and include a lot of detail. As far as I know, he is one of the few home inspectors out there (and I have used a couple of others) that also holds a professional engineering license. Would you rather have your home, your most important investment, inspected by some high school graduate or an engineer with familiarity with structural, electrical, plumbing and other areas? As I stated before, I've used him in the past and I will continue to use him in the future. Also, for the owners of this website, I suggest you reconsider how you verify the truth in these reviews. I find the negative reviews to be false, misleading, and slanderous to Mr. Chang. Larger websites have been sued for publishing slanderous reviews despite your "this site is not responsible for the authenticity" statement. See the class action suit filed against Yelp in LA. In the end, I suggest anyone looking for a home inspector to speak with people you can trust rather than go to some website where anybody can make anything up. Especially competitors who could profit from Mr. Chang losing business.

He is very terrible. You never get any useful information from him. He is very irresponsible.Terribly Bad!!! Never never never choose him, especially recommended by your agent. It is not only my opinion. I have one friend to have a bad experience with him too. And she told me she has another friend to have the same experience as well. So for your sake, just DO NOT hire George Chang to do home inspection for you!!!!!
